Where do I park?

Parking in front of the school is limited to pick up and drop off only. If you are going to be staying for a longer period of time while volunteering or meeting please park on the street.

How much are school lunches and breakfasts?

Checks should be made out to LUSD.

The 2010 - 2011 prices are as follows:  Price for breakfast is $1.00.  Free and reduced breakfasts are free.  The price for lunch is $2.00 and reduced lunches are 40 cents.

How do I qualify for free or reduced lunch?
Fill out the form that is in your first day of school packet and return it to your child's teacher. You will be notified by mail if you qualify or not. You can also check for the form in the office.
Can my child charge lunch?
They are able to charge up to two lunches. After two charges if the balance due has not been paid they will receive a piece of fruit and peanut butter crackers. We strongly urge you to prepay by check made out to LUSD.
When are minimum days and when is my child dismissed?
Please check the district calendar and our school calendar for upcoming minimum days. Staggered Day Kindergarten dismissal is at 11:45 am and Grades 1st-6th dismissal is at 12 noon.
Can my child walk through the bike rack to get to school?
Students not bringing a skateboard, bike, or scooter to school are not allowed in the bike rack. They must walk around to avoid congestion in that area and for their safety as cars are driving in.
