Crestview Mission Statement
The mission of Crestview School, in partnership with the Vandenberg Air Force Base community and Lompoc Unified School District, is to provide a safe positive learning environment where all students learn at high levels. Crestview Elementary School is located on a 15.3 acre site located on Vandenberg Air Force Base. Vandenberg is near Lompoc which is located 150 miles northwest of Los Angeles in Santa Barbara County. Crestview serves approximately 650 students since its merger with Los Padres. Most of the students live inside the main gate of Vandenberg Air Force Base and have parents who are service members or work as civilians on or off the base. The school averages 10-15 English Language Learners with a variety of primary languages ranging from Japanese to Spanish.
