The kindergarten classes will be beginning our ocean unit where we will be learning about various ocean animals, their habitat, characteristics, and what they eat.  We have previewed this science unit with our field trip to the Cabrillio High School Aquarium.  Students will be learning more about the animals that they encountered at the aquarium.  During the science unit students will be listening to science lessons, writing about the animals, and making the animals to go in an ocean book.  The main animals that we will be learning about are the sea star, octopus, hermit crab, lobster, and many others.  If you or your child has anything pertaining to these animals that they would like to share with the class please let your child's teacher know.
